Another resource for this class will be assigned readings from Kuper and Szymanski’s Soccernomics. Much like Moneyball complemented our Statistics’ class, Soccernomics will add to Dr. Francis’ lectures. In this book, the authors dissect the game of soccer and challenge long-held beliefs, apply reason to suggested changes, and provide thoughtful economic analysis.
