As part of Aaron LeValley’s CRM class, Ben Roller of the San Diego Padres came by to speak to SMBA ’11. Roller is Manager of Database and CRM Operations for the Padres.
Roller discussed renewal rates, ticket selling, and how the CRM database can lead to identifying areas of weakness during a given game or team home-stand. He also took us through the tools used by the Padres to further customer relationship and how it helps their sale staff to retain and collect ticket sales.
Roller supported LeValley’s assertion that CRMs can help teams identify areas to improve customer relationships and can, eventually, lead to future success. SMBA '11 thanks Ben Roller coming in and talking with us.
